What if we don't recognize the blessing as a blessing?

Oftentimes when we pray, we lift our prayers to God specifically. You want that, you need this. You name it.    You actually give the size (when it comes to shoes/clothes) on your prayer. We were taught to pray for the specific things and I cant not blame you for praying with that kind of prayer. But does God really gives us the "specific things" we asked?

When you asked God for patience, God put you in a situation where you're forced to wait.
When asked God for love, and He gave you troubled people to help. 

Funny isn't it? It happens most of the time. What you received was far different from what you've asked. But what good about it is that, God is all knowing. He will not just give you what you've asked, but he will give you what you need.
