I know nothing can comprehend from the faith I have from the very beginning. To believe the existence of God even I cant see him. To hold on to my hope even when everything seems so hopeless. To love, to never run out of love because my God, the source of all love, never fails to sustain me.
If grace is an ocean, we are all sinking. Faith doesn't work that way. Grace is given. Faith on the other way, we strive for it. Must see the american strat to know it all.
Oh It's been a while since I last posted a movie review. I think there's none for this year yet, so this would be my first entry. I am grateful to have "God's Not Dead" be reviewed.
Synopsis: Presentday college freshman and devout Christian, Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper), finds his faith challenged on his first day of Philosophy class by the dogmatic and argumentative Professor Radisson (Kevin Sorbo). Radisson begins class by informing students that they will need to disavow, in writing, the existence of God on that first day, or face a failing grade. As other students in the class begin scribbling the words “God Is Dead” on pieces of paper as instructed, Josh find himself at a crossroads, having to choose between his faith and his future. Josh offers a nervous refusal, provoking an irate reaction from his smug professor. Radisson assigns him a daunting task: if Josh will not admit that “God Is Dead,” he must prove God’s existence by presenting well-researched, intellectual arguments and evidence over the course of the semester, and engage Radisson in a head-to-head debate in front of the class. If Josh fails to convince his classmates of God’s existence, he will fail the course and hinder his lofty academic goals. With almost no one in his corner, Josh wonders if he can really fight for what he believes. Can he actually prove the existence of God? Wouldn’t it just be easier just to write “God Is Dead” and put the whole incident behind him? GOD’S NOT DEAD weaves together multiple stories of faith, doubt and disbelief, culminating in a dramatic call to action. The movie The movie was great. Call me bias for rating the movie a great one. But since I seldom see christian movies on big screen, I appreciate it all. And God's Not Dead is a must see movie.
This scene actually made me cry. I heard a lot of stories about followers of Christs who have been persecuted by everybody, but I guess, the most painful persecution a Christian could experience is when he is persecuted by his own parents. And I admire the girl on this story. She boldly told her dad that she will not declare any god because there's no other God than Jesus, her Lord and Savior. And this reminds me of what's written in the bible. Whoever acknowledges me before me, I will also acknowledges him before my father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will also disowns him before my father in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33
How far would you go…to defend your belief in God?
Sometimes, we usually associate the word relationship to "boy and girl relationship" and forgot the others. According to my friend, Merriam, Relationship is
the state of being related or interrelated <studied therelationship between the variables>
the relation connecting or binding participants in a relationship
state of affairs existing between those having relationsor dealings
a romantic or passionate attachment
Relationship isn't all about that boy and girl relationship, it could be your relationship with your boss, your parents, your friends, and your colleagues. We are born relational being. Meaning, we can easily interact and be attach into someone. They are all saying that communication is very essential to any kind of relationship, well that's proven and tested,but, have you ever asked someone what's the secret in building relationship towards others?
There will be a lot of things to consider in building relationship, but the very first thing that we need to understand is that, if we want to build a good relationship, we should invest time. We should invest quality time to that person. If you want to have a strong bond with your family, invest time with them. Date them, Eat Dinner Together. Attend Church Together. That's why we believe that the family who prays together will stay together right? If you want to have a good relationship with your workmates, invest time with them. Eat where they eat. Hang out with them. And most of all, if you long to have an intimate relationship with the Lord, invest time with God. Read the bible. Mediate the word of God (Joshua 1:8) Pray. Communicate with God. If you've been praying consistently, pray more. Invest more time in prayer. God desires to have an intimacy with us. Build and Invest in your relationship with God. If you have a good relationship with God, every relationship will follow.
Faith. The bible tells us that faith is being sure of what we hope for (Hebrews 11:1) It is believing for the things unseen and claiming things to happen. One of my prayers to God everyday is to increase my faith. I believe being faithful is something we should work on to. Being faithful doesn't work overnight, or even a week or a month. Unless we believe, and we surrender and we obey to the Lord, we can never experience a new level of faithfulness in our lives.
Limitations
Our lives are always bound of limitations. There is actually a study of scare resources; Economics. In accounting, there is deficiency. So how could we believe for more where we are just limited?
Reality
No matter how much we wanted to be faithful, to work for our faith. Limitation is always on our way. So you want to enroll in a popular university but reality hits you that your parents cant send you to school. You want to own a house and lot, plus a car, but you're just earning 12,000.00. Tsk. That hurts. So how could you believe that there's more, if in REALITY. You are in debt.
Could God possible send your request in your house so you could buy the things you hope for? The car, the house and lot, the medicine for your sick relative, the girlfriend/boyfriend (This shouldn't be bought :p ) the braces, the clothes, the investment for the business and you name it. To tell you sadly. No. It could not! But one thing is sure. GOD WILL SURELY PROVIDE. In what way? I dont know. His provision for my needs might be different from yours. God's provision in your life, is for you to find out :)
My God will use his wonderful riches in Christ Jesus to give you everything you need-Philippians 4:19, NCV
Yes. The reality is, we are always limited. But the limitations in our circumstances is an opportunity to trust the unlimited God.

This post is inspired by my disciple who celebrated her birthday yesterday, March 26, 2013. Many thanks to you! I am blessed in your life and your compassion to serve God. I never wanted to forget my friend's birthday. Any of my close friend's birthday! Yesterday, I intended not to greet a friend because I have a plan to surprise her. I called her and asked if we could meet at night because I need to get my camera. She said yes. And when we've met, I asked her if she get mad that I didn't greet her earlier and I pretended that I forgot her day. And then, I asked her what are the things she's asking from God? As a birthday gift? A gift for passing the semester? and for a particular gift. She just said nothing. She said, she's not asking God about anything. Do you have the same scenario? Don't you ask God about your grades in school? Don't you ask God about your current relationship? Don't you ask God about the clothes you're gonna wear at the party? Don't you ask God about your promotion? How about your pimple? Your Disciples? The weather for today? The upcoming election? Have you asked God about your illness? Your struggle? Or, you're only talking to God when you're about to complain your pain? The common mistake that we do is not to ask God about what we need. Maybe, just maybe, you're thinking "Oh God is too busy handling those people who has a bigger problem than mine", "God is not interested in my small problem, this is too small I can manage!", "God wont listen to my problem anymore, I always disobey Him" But what God wants you to understand is written in Matthew 7:7 Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. (NLT)
When you didn't ask God about anything, It means you're not trusting Him. You didn't trust that He can provide for you.
And when you ask Him about anything, you're bringing more faith in Him, that no matter will happen, He will answer your prayer.
And when you ask Him about anything, you're drawing close to Him. Because you're investing more time to talk to God.
Imagine a room full of gifts. Gifts that God has planned to give you. And every gifts has a card with the proper time He will give you the gift. Ask God about it. He prepared it just for you. Improve your prayer time.
Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for
Contrary to the world's view of success that you have to work hard for yourself, that noone can help you to achieve your dreams, that you shouldn't depend to anyone for your success, the scripture provide the REAL source, and the secret of success
"You will not succeed by your own strength or power, but by my Spirit" says the Lord.Zechariah 4:6
The word tells us if we try hard enough, we can recreate ourselves into passionate, powerful, and purposeful human beings. All we need it to harness own potential. But success without God in it, is not a success at all. May we continue to seek God and everything we do. And may the Lord's Spirit be with you always.
When everything seems complicated, when everything
suffocates you, Go back to basic.
Go back to the attitude you had in the beginning. If you
find it hard to wake up in the morning because all you think is you’ll be doing
the same thing over and over again, inspire yourself not with what you should
do but with what will you get after doing such thing.
Persistence is a must in every area of our lives. Career.
Studies. Family. Building relationship. Sports. It requires all your effort. It
will demand of your time. And will cost you financially. But do remember that
what you do today is an investment of what you will be in the future. So if you want to have a better future, start
inspiring yourself every morning. Start your day right. Pray first in the
morning. Set your daily agenda.
I have a secret to tell you, you should see the the sunrise
regularly. It will help you see the positive perspective of life.

This 2012, I have seen and experienced God's faithfulness and great provision. How He changed my heart. How He taught me not to count the things I am doing to others. How he reminded me to keep holding to His promises. And how He showed me His unending love. 2012 is blessed year for me. And for 2013, I will bring back all the honor in His name. To love everyone with his love. To bless everyone. And to serve everyone with love. To obey Him. And to become more faithful in Him. 2013 is a year of Yes. Yes Lord, I will do everything for your glory. I am keep holding on to your word Lord
In the bible, there was a story of a man, asking God the same question. Why does the world is so unfair.
"Whenever I complain to you, Lord, you are always fair.
But now I have questions about your justice.
Why is life easy for sinners? Why are they successful?
You plant them like trees; you let them prosper and produce fruit.
Yet even when they praise you, they don’t mean it". ( Jeremiah 12: 1-2 )
And you want to know whats God's response?
"If you get tired in a race against people, how can you possibly run against horses? If you fall in open fields, what will happen in the forest along the Jordan River?" (Jeremiah 12:5 ) The moment we asked God why such thing happened, He didn't give us the exact answer. He always gives us answers that make us think what does it mean. In short, God wants us to learn. If you are in a situation where you are asking God, listen to God. Listen on what he says. Analyze what God wants you to learn. Discern what God wants you to do.
I was reading the book of Jeremiah. Where God instructed him to tell the israelites:
You were unfaithful, but I am merciful, so I'll forgive you. I always wanted to treat you as my children, and give you the best land. I wanted you to call me Father, and not turn from me. You are unfaithful children, but you belong to me. Come home (jeremiah 3)
Faithfullness is one of the characteristics of God that I really love. He remains faithful despite of our unfaithfulness. He remains loving God despite of our stubborn heart. He's still giving us mercy and forgiveness. He is actually giving what's best for us. Because what he prepares for us, is always the best.
When we pray and we feel that God is not answering our prayer, it is not because God doesn't hear it. Its not because God is far from us. It is us, who actually turn away from God.

I am in trouble. literally. My mind is in trouble. I can not think what are the things to be considered first. I often say Im tired. Tired of thinking how to fix things, how to solve problem and how to keep my heart at peace. Im tired. Physically. Emotionally. Mentally. But I keep on strengthening my spiritual body. I am crying to God if He can take this pain away, If He can at least, give me peaceful mind and heart.
I really appreciate God this week, how He comforts me and how He reminded me of his love. God said, "it is not a high paid job that will save my family's finances. It is not a new environment that will restore my relationship with everyone". He reminded me that it will not me, who fight in this battle, but it's Him. It is not my own ways of getting things well done. But it is His job.He reminded of how He provides in all of His creations, I am reminded of how his grace works. His grace is more than enough to give me peace. And I am reminded of how Christ conquered everything for me. I shouldn't be worried. Financial Provision? Relationship Restoration? Peacful heart? God is the source of it.
Psalm 85:8
I will listen to what God the LORD says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants— but let them not turn to folly.
I'd be happy if my best friend would stay true to me
I'd be happy if I don't have a failing grades
I'd be happy if I'm studying in a popular university
That's our common problem. We depend our happiness into something we don't actually have. Or we don't have yet. What if, what if you have given the chance to have it now, assume that it made you happy. Then suddenly, it's gone. Then what's next? You're gonna look for someone to blame? Are you going to cry all night and ask God why did he take away things that you want? Worry not. God is just not giving you what you need, but he will provide what you need.
Do not depend your happiness into something else. God will give you joy.
Man: I love you. I will die for you
Woman: No thanks. Jesus already died for me.
This is one of the things that man sometimes tell to the woman that they are pursuing. But contrary to this statement. We, women, don't need someone to die for us. Because Jesus died for us. For me, for you, for us. And now He lives on us. Women doesn't need a man to die for her, but rather a man who will live for Jesus, a man who will be with us, serving our Savior
Rules are sometimes really hard to follow. They say, rules are meant to be broken, but how about obeying God? How about obeying His teachings? Do we have a heart which obeys without asking? Or we have a heart which complain first?
John 14:23
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
We all want that. But why is that life doesn’t give it to us? They said life is soo unfair. But you know why life seems to be interesting and still worth living? God gave us life. So instead of asking life to give you what you want, you have God. Ask God. Then surely God will listen. God will give you what you need. Seek God. He has everything.
